LandMARC

Achieving Solutions through Innovation

The Logistics and Maintenance Applied Research Center (LandMARC) is focused on providing commercial and government organizations the means to enhance performance of their existing systems and processes, while reducing total operating costs.

Based at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, a component of the Georgia Institute of Technology, LandMARC is a multi-discipline, systems focused research and development center. LandMARC’s scientists and engineers create solutions for their sponsors through creative combinations of multi-disciplinary analysis, systems engineering, simulation and modeling. Working closely with their sponsors, LandMARC teams seek to completely formulate the problem and its constraints. From that understanding, flexible, focused teams of researchers from several disciplines work to create the most effective solution.

Our Vision
LandMARC is a recognized leader in the integration of performance support and information technology for application to the logistics and maintenance environment.

Our Philosophy
LandMARC harnesses the collective talents and expertise of research faculties in universities, leading edge products from commercial sources and the experience of personnel in the Department of Defense and other agencies to create the next generation of solutions for logistics and maintenance, including: information delivery systems and performance support systems; new asset management technologies; prognostics systems and algorithms; and innovative ways to sustain systems and eliminate obsolescence . We favor open architecture, web based systems, and commercially available software and hardware when they represent the best value for the solution.

Our Mission
LandMARC delivers performance centered systems that deliver quality information to decision makers from the technician at the equipment, to the Supply Chain managing its material needs, to the technical staff supporting the equipment off site.
