MedEPSSTM Will Provide Better Information
For Hospitals And Healthcare Personnel
A pilot project being developed through the Logistics and Maintenance Applied Research Center at GTRI may one day provide a powerful form of assistance to healthcare workers. The Medical Electronic Performance Support System (MedEPSSTM) consists of Web-based software that acts as a job aid and reference tool for nurses, admissions personnel and other hospital workers.

How Does This System Work?
MedEPSSTM includes the following features:

  • Access to patient history
  • Prescription information
  • Automated symptom identification and information
  • Web-based resources

With critical information at their fingertips,healthcare workers can more easily make informed decisions and use the.system to:

  • Speed admissions procedures
  • Reduce billing and paperwork errors
  • Provide immediate and enhanced refresher training
